Winter Garden...

Here's our winter garden. This is really Alex and Justin's project, they love watching everything grow!
We also go quite a few lemons and 9 oranges on our fruit trees this year - not bad for 1st year trees!

4 Months

13 lbs 1 oz - 10th percentile for weight and 24 1/2 inches tall - 50th percentile for height. His head is 43 inches - still the 75th percentile for his head (we give daddy all the credit for his big head! :).

William you are growing so big! I love to talk and sing to you and make you smile! When you smile your whole face lights up and your eyes sparkle and it makes me smile too!

William, you are my ray of sunshine every day! I love you - to the moon and back!

So handsome! I love to pick up William and snuggle him with tons of cheek kisses!

Assistant Captain

Nic is an Assistant Captain for his Wrestling Team. Quite an achievement for the shy boy who hated sports and only joined wrestling last year.

But he is so super disappointed! He was hoping to be a Captain. He was 1 of only 3 that went to summer camp, never misses practices and has been working really hard. He's been leading warm-ups during practice and he thought for sure he'd make Captain.

My poor boy, my heart aches for him so...

But Alex is going to work with him and he talked to him tonight about channeling his anger and frustration onto the mat and winning. I think it also helped to hear that Alex was the only one on his football team his senior year to get offered a full scholarship to play football in college and was never a captain either. He doesn't need to be captain to be an awesome wrestler.

I am so proud of my oh so shy I hate sports son - who is now Assistant Captain of his wrestling team as a sophmore!

William's 1st sick appt

William caught a cold. He was having the sniffles and I was suctioning him out a lot! So we went to the Dr.

He just has a cold, thankgoodness. Saline spray and keep suctioning him.

He is 12lbs 15 oz with all his clothes and diaper on. He's getting so big!

I also had her look at his cradle cap and dry skin. He has exzema. She said it's probably from Dairy. I said any time I ate cheese or had mild he would scream and scream so I cut it out. However I did not cut out butter/margarine. It appears I can no longer have that anymore either. Oh my achin' head - what I do for my little love!

Big Brother

Nic loves his new brother! We really miss him now that he is at wrestling practice every day!

Nic is so tired after practice! He comes home showers, eats, HW and bed. He is in bed by 8pm if HW allows and still wakes up exhausted! Hopefully his body will get used to the intense workouts soon.

Halloween

Justin has to dress up as a literary character for school so he was Thing 1 and we made William Thing 2. They were so cute!

Childhood Innocence

I was talking to the boys about their Christmas Lists and telling them that they needed to be small this year...

With childhood innocence Justin says, don't worry mommy, Santa can buy everything!

I had to tell my little 6 year old that everyone's mommy and daddy are struggling because of the economy this year and need extra help from Santa too...and he can only make so many toys...

Alex's hard work finally paid off - kinda :/

My husband works so hard! He has always been willing to work more than 1 job when needed and puts so much effort into his career.

When he took his current position, he took a title demotion and $ cut in exchange for better benefits and job stability.

He has worked oh so very hard to show them how good he is at his job!

On October 1st Alex was promoted to management!

But, like everything there was a hitch. The raise that went with the promotion was nonexsistent as they took away overtime pay :(. So what to do? Really nothing, they got you. At least now we are guaranteed the $ with OT or not!

He has already traveled to a management training session in CA - he got to stay over night and had a lot of fun!

We are super excited he is back in management! I am so proud of him!

Pinch Me!

These 3 boys are mine! Well, mine and Alex's, and I guess everyone that loves them -I will share with you too! I love these 3 boys so much! Don't you just want to scoop them up and love and hug and kiss them all? I feel so lucky and blessed to be raising these boys!




















(PS - Alex's work removed the lifetime max for fertility benefits. It was capped at $10,000 for meds and procedures each. Now it's UNLIMITED! Pinch me because that just sounds way too good to be true! Can we dare hope and pray for a 4th little boy to add to our family?)
