A BOY IS

TRUTH with dirt on his face,

BEAUTY with a cut on his finger,

WISDOM with bubble gum in his hair,

and theHOPE of the future with a
frog in his pocket.

LITTLE GIRLS

Little girls are made of daisies and butterflies and soft kitty cat purrs

And all the precious memories of times that once were.

Little girls are made of angel's wings and giggles and a firefly's glow

And all the happy feelings, deep inside, that we all know.

Little girls are made of cinnamon and bubbles and fancy white pearls

And snowflakes and rainbows and ballerina twirls.

Little girls are made of sunshine and cupcakes and fresh morning dew,

And these are the reasons, little one, why everyone loves you.

Loving Kindergarten...

I just love Justin's Kindergarten teacher. I love her classroom policy and how she runs the classroom!

I really love her marble jar that she is using for positive reinforcement. Without saying a word when the kids are good she adds a marble to the glass jar - it pings loudly and the kids know they are being AWESOME! When it is full the class gets a prize. It is so funny, when I was doing my 1st grade student teaching my teaching advisor recommended I use the marble jar and it worked awesome.

I also get to volunteer every Thurs from 10 to 12 ~ how fun is that!!!!!

I love the volunteering part. I went every Monday I wasn't on bedrest last year to Marianne's class. This year Marianne has the same teacher and I think she's wonderful...I have yet to volunteer in Jared's class, but so far I like his teacher too.
