A BOY IS

TRUTH with dirt on his face,

BEAUTY with a cut on his finger,

WISDOM with bubble gum in his hair,

and theHOPE of the future with a
frog in his pocket.

LITTLE GIRLS

Little girls are made of daisies and butterflies and soft kitty cat purrs

And all the precious memories of times that once were.

Little girls are made of angel's wings and giggles and a firefly's glow

And all the happy feelings, deep inside, that we all know.

Little girls are made of cinnamon and bubbles and fancy white pearls

And snowflakes and rainbows and ballerina twirls.

Little girls are made of sunshine and cupcakes and fresh morning dew,

And these are the reasons, little one, why everyone loves you.

What's been going on...

I have been a bad blogger lately...

Grandma came for a visit. We had big plans to do stuff but really only got to Peter Piper and Sea Life aquarium. Grandma got the stomach virus and was not feeling so well.
Nic and Justin had a wonderful time playing the games at Peter Piper - and so did Grandma.
Sea Life was fun. Justin really enjoyed it. But compared to Mystic Aquarium the price of admission was very... pricey - even with coupons.

After Grandma left the stomach bug has hit the rest of our house. UG!

We got our spring garden planted. We did 12 tomato plants for sauce and then just salad stuff - lettuce, radish, carrot, onion, parsley, dill, basil, and 1 pumpkin plant in the orange tree area.

Nic has been helping our neighbor Ted replant his plants that have died. What started to be an afternoon of helping has turned into days and hours as Ted has him planting 60 plants. I think it got a little out of control as far as "helping" but Nic has been a good sport about it.

Nic got his drivers permit. I thought he would get it over Christmas break but he needed to be 15 and 6 months. I took him to the school parking lot to practice a little the other night. He's still nervous and Justin yelling "He's going to kill us" in the back didn't help. Luckily he's in drivers ed at school and we also paid the extra $100.00 so he can do behind the wheel. His instructor takes him out after school and they drive for 6 hours and he also gives him his drivers test. I think that's the best $100.00 I've spent in a long time!

Justin is loving being outside on his bike. I still think he is a tad jealous of William - guess that's what happens when you are the youngest for 6 years. He loves the garden and must help with whatever's going on in there - except for the weeding, it gets old fast. He keeps trying to do stunts - now on his scooter and took a nice somersault the other day. A daily prayer for me is that he will not break a bone the next day.

William is a love. He loves to have his kneck kissed and belly laughs so hard when you do. We are working on getting him to drink a bottle. He will happily take a bottle or sippy cup when it is filled with juice. Milk or formula? Spits it right out and refuses more. Oh that boy! I met with Dr Craig and really need him on formula - but that boy cries like I am breaking his heart if I try it. I'm praying daily that he just gladly wakes up and accepts it soon...

I think I'm all caught up again... :)

I can just picture Nic trying to concentrate and Justin yelling that he's going to kill you. But on the school drives he's very proud of his brother learning how to drive!!
