A BOY IS

TRUTH with dirt on his face,

BEAUTY with a cut on his finger,

WISDOM with bubble gum in his hair,

and theHOPE of the future with a
frog in his pocket.

LITTLE GIRLS

Little girls are made of daisies and butterflies and soft kitty cat purrs

And all the precious memories of times that once were.

Little girls are made of angel's wings and giggles and a firefly's glow

And all the happy feelings, deep inside, that we all know.

Little girls are made of cinnamon and bubbles and fancy white pearls

And snowflakes and rainbows and ballerina twirls.

Little girls are made of sunshine and cupcakes and fresh morning dew,

And these are the reasons, little one, why everyone loves you.

Life Changes, in a blink

We were excitedly waiting for a month long visit with grandma and grandpa V. We had day trips scheduled and I had visions of trips out with no kiddos complete with lunch with friends and pedicures and manicures.

Dad hadn't been feeling well though. He had bronchitis and he wasnt getting better. On Sat Feb 23rd he was having trouble breathing and we brought him to the hospital. He was in the hospital 11 days. He was diagnosed with renal failure. He came home going to dialysis 3 days a week and on oxygen.

March was a hard month figuring everything out. Dad got off oxygen. During dialysis they took off about 150 lbs of water - he hadn't been feeling well for quite some time. He had surgery to get a fistula, they straightened out meds, and he started to feel better. Now we are working on doing dialysis from home, dad going back to work and getting on the kidney transplant list.

It's been a rough time for everyone... Thankfully grandma and grandpa were here for the month of March to help us.

Dad and I are thankful each day for all 5 of you. You bring so much love and hope to each and every moment of our life.
