A BOY IS

TRUTH with dirt on his face,

BEAUTY with a cut on his finger,

WISDOM with bubble gum in his hair,

and theHOPE of the future with a
frog in his pocket.

LITTLE GIRLS

Little girls are made of daisies and butterflies and soft kitty cat purrs

And all the precious memories of times that once were.

Little girls are made of angel's wings and giggles and a firefly's glow

And all the happy feelings, deep inside, that we all know.

Little girls are made of cinnamon and bubbles and fancy white pearls

And snowflakes and rainbows and ballerina twirls.

Little girls are made of sunshine and cupcakes and fresh morning dew,

And these are the reasons, little one, why everyone loves you.

Christmas Vacation

Ahh, how lazy we have been. With no school the boys and I have been staying up later and sleeping late. Before we restart our schedule on Tuesday I think we have some internal clock adjusting to do.

I have been...
Going to the park with the boys and pushing Justin on the swing until my arms rebell.
Putting up Justin's trampoline in the backyard, now I can again tell him "stop jumping on the couch go jump on the tramp - Alex did most of this.
Watching lifetime late at night
playing Guitar Hero with the boys, they love my singing - NOT!
Shooting each other with nerf darts - drives the dogs CRAZY!
Hanging up a few pictures here and there.
Putting away Christmas decorations.
Sleeping until 9AM!!!!!!!!!
Staying up late reading as the boys are asleep and there is no one to interrupt
Calling my sister at work, home and cell to harass her. I even made her talk on her cell to me while at the mall Christmas shopping with my other sister Kelly - I wanted them to feel I was there :). Maybe she'll get so sick of me calling her she'll fly out to talk in person - what do you think Kerri - will it work?

Well, Alex is at work so I'm off to read and enjoy my Reeses Peanut Butter Cup that I hid from the boys so I didn't have to share - how awful is that?

Laughing about the Reeses. At least you wait so they don't see you. I just say go away and let me eat in peace! Which never really works. I guess I should wait until they aren't around too. Love they blog!
