A BOY IS

TRUTH with dirt on his face,

BEAUTY with a cut on his finger,

WISDOM with bubble gum in his hair,

and theHOPE of the future with a
frog in his pocket.

LITTLE GIRLS

Little girls are made of daisies and butterflies and soft kitty cat purrs

And all the precious memories of times that once were.

Little girls are made of angel's wings and giggles and a firefly's glow

And all the happy feelings, deep inside, that we all know.

Little girls are made of cinnamon and bubbles and fancy white pearls

And snowflakes and rainbows and ballerina twirls.

Little girls are made of sunshine and cupcakes and fresh morning dew,

And these are the reasons, little one, why everyone loves you.

Easter 2012

Happy Easter Boys and Happy 1st Easter Emma and Jaxen!
William you had a great time hunting for eggs with Justin this year. Last year you were still too little but this year you had a blast! It was great fun until you decided that the eggs were "balls" and screamed ball and threw it. Then out popped the candy and you were just in awe! Of course mommy said no more chocolate in eggs when you started popping it right in your mouth and drooling chocolate all over!

Justin you of course had a blast and were super excited almost jumping out of your skin waiting for everyone to get up and move! Then you were so excited to show William how to hunt for eggs and were frustrated with him at how slow he was and how he constantly got distracted! The big hit for the 2 of you were light up bouncy balls. So cool!

Nic was too old to hunt for eggs per him so he hid them all for the boys. He was excited to get all 3 of the Hunger Games books and has already finished the 1st one - although I did give the 1st one to him early so he could start reading for AR points for school.

Alex and I just tried to survive through all the chaos and excitement while being tired. I think we were still stuffing eggs at midnight and taking care of babies in between stuffing. I took the easy way this year and we ate a frozen lasagna we had made before the babies came and I bought garlic bread and dip and veggies. We made a frozen apple pie and although it greatly pained me, I knew I was just not up to making cookies, so I bought the already made and you just decorate cookies. They were a hit and the kids still had fun with them.
