A BOY IS

TRUTH with dirt on his face,

BEAUTY with a cut on his finger,

WISDOM with bubble gum in his hair,

and theHOPE of the future with a
frog in his pocket.

LITTLE GIRLS

Little girls are made of daisies and butterflies and soft kitty cat purrs

And all the precious memories of times that once were.

Little girls are made of angel's wings and giggles and a firefly's glow

And all the happy feelings, deep inside, that we all know.

Little girls are made of cinnamon and bubbles and fancy white pearls

And snowflakes and rainbows and ballerina twirls.

Little girls are made of sunshine and cupcakes and fresh morning dew,

And these are the reasons, little one, why everyone loves you.

Christmas 2012

Christmas morning was great! The kids were excited and thankful for their gifts. We spent the day at home playing. Nic got his class ring, private shooting lessons, video game and clothes. Justin got some video games, bball hoop, winter soccer league, clothes, skateboards, cowboy boots and army stuff. William got clothes, wheelbarrow for gardening, cowboy boots like woody, a laptop, soccer net, and toys. Jaxen got clothes and blocks and a train. Emma got earrings, new pearls for her necklace and a few toys. Alex got gun club renewal and clothes. I got new pandora charms and a locket that I've wanted forever on a long sturdy change. It's beautiful.

Nicholas you really love your siblings so much! It always makes me smile to see you spending time with them.

Emma opening a gift from Auntie Kerri, loving the pink things in the house!

Rockin' the cowboy boots and super excited to go build his new basketball hoop!

Jaxen's 1st race car track.

Unloading stockings. They are beautifully made by Grandma Geri for all of us!

Mommy's sweet sweet angel boy.

Caught in the act! Jaxen you always try and wake sister! This is why you two no longer sleep together :)

Soccer!! Next summer you will be 3 and able to play!

Merry Christmas! I love you all so much!

Sister, Sister, wake up! Let's go play!

And the stockings were hung...

My sweet Emma, One day this locket will be yours... You may take out the picture and place in your babies picture or leave in the one of you and your brothers. But I hope you will always treasure it. I have always wanted a locket, your Great Nana Gorman had a round circle watch on a chain around her kneck for as long as I can remember. All her grandchildren would pull on it and hold it in their hands or mouth. It was something that I always associated with her. I am not sure there was any $ value in it, but there was sentimental value - and I hope that you know, that is worth more than any money. I always thought as the oldest daughter Grandma Linda would get it and then it would pass to me as the oldest grandaughter. Unfortunately it was lost when she passed away. I always hoped I could get something close to what she had, but I wanted a locket, so I could also keep a picture of you and your brothers close to my heart always. This Christmas daddy bought me this beautiful locket encrusted with diamonds on a long chain. I treasure it, and I hope one day you will do the same. I hope that you and William and Jaxen and all my grandchildren will always remember mommy/grandma having this around her kneck and that you all spent hours holding it while I loved and cuddled you all.
