A BOY IS

TRUTH with dirt on his face,

BEAUTY with a cut on his finger,

WISDOM with bubble gum in his hair,

and theHOPE of the future with a
frog in his pocket.

LITTLE GIRLS

Little girls are made of daisies and butterflies and soft kitty cat purrs

And all the precious memories of times that once were.

Little girls are made of angel's wings and giggles and a firefly's glow

And all the happy feelings, deep inside, that we all know.

Little girls are made of cinnamon and bubbles and fancy white pearls

And snowflakes and rainbows and ballerina twirls.

Little girls are made of sunshine and cupcakes and fresh morning dew,

And these are the reasons, little one, why everyone loves you.

Spanish Part 2

So no response from Nic's Spanish teacher to the email I sent. (And it was not a mean letter, I read it to someone before I emailed it.)

She did address the situation today with the class however. From what I understand she told the class that she has had a lot of calls and letters from parents about turning in the work to the sub. She told them she was staying with her policy and she would bring it all the way up to the office if she had to.

Now I am really mad! So I have emailed the Principle, I'll take it to the office myself!

I am really having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that the sub told them not to turn it in and she is punishing the children for LISTENING to the SUB!

So hopefully I will get a call tomorrow or my next step will be calling the Superintendent and getting a meeting set up for all of us to meet face to face!

Most teachers want their students to succeed I am not getting that vibe from her at all!
