A BOY IS

TRUTH with dirt on his face,

BEAUTY with a cut on his finger,

WISDOM with bubble gum in his hair,

and theHOPE of the future with a
frog in his pocket.

LITTLE GIRLS

Little girls are made of daisies and butterflies and soft kitty cat purrs

And all the precious memories of times that once were.

Little girls are made of angel's wings and giggles and a firefly's glow

And all the happy feelings, deep inside, that we all know.

Little girls are made of cinnamon and bubbles and fancy white pearls

And snowflakes and rainbows and ballerina twirls.

Little girls are made of sunshine and cupcakes and fresh morning dew,

And these are the reasons, little one, why everyone loves you.

William's Room

I have to admit my new son is getting a little jilted. We are recycling the bedding from Justin's nursery. With $ tight I am so glad I saved everything. I did salvage the white shelf from the DI and Alex sanded and painted it and hung it above William's dresser. I love it! His nursery came out so peaceful, I walk in there often and picture him and I in a few weeks choosing clothes and changing diapers in there.
What a difference time makes - not to long ago I would walk in the room that I called a nursery that housed baby storage and cry and dream of having another baby to fill that room. Heavenly Father has answered my prayers and in a few short weeks my dream will be reality as I hold my precious miracle in my arms.

Here is William's crib. There is a blanket I made and some stuffed bears that Justin is sharing.

Here is his bureau and his white shelf. The rocking chair in the corner was mine when I was a little girl and the blue puppy and bears in the rocker Justin is again sharing.

This is his bookshelf and his name on the wall. I tried to paint and then decopage them and they came out horrible! Alex salvaged them with some sanding and did an awesome job getting the paper I wanted on them to stay! It's so nice to have someone artsy in the house!

This is his changing table.

William's nursery is done and his cradle is ready to rock him. I have my bag mostly packed and a few things packed for him. Alex and I still need to get him a going home outfit and then we will just wait. Wait for this little guy to announce his arrival!

It's a beautiful room! William is a lucky little squirt. All of my kids have gotten short shrift, if you consider recycling baby stuff as cheating them! Marianne was the only one who got new bedding and a new dresser, and even then there was no decorated nursery to match (seeing as how she slept in the living room). Fortunately I registered for more neutral colors so Jared & Kyle didn't have to sleep in a pink crib!
