A BOY IS

TRUTH with dirt on his face,

BEAUTY with a cut on his finger,

WISDOM with bubble gum in his hair,

and theHOPE of the future with a
frog in his pocket.

LITTLE GIRLS

Little girls are made of daisies and butterflies and soft kitty cat purrs

And all the precious memories of times that once were.

Little girls are made of angel's wings and giggles and a firefly's glow

And all the happy feelings, deep inside, that we all know.

Little girls are made of cinnamon and bubbles and fancy white pearls

And snowflakes and rainbows and ballerina twirls.

Little girls are made of sunshine and cupcakes and fresh morning dew,

And these are the reasons, little one, why everyone loves you.

Cleaning and Starving

I have been busy cleaning. The list I accumulated months ago - the one where I got all the cleaning done prior to baby coming - ha! I def. did that too early. So the past week I have been cleaning like crazy. It better stay clean until the baby comes - with my mood I don't think dust would even dare enter this house! Plus with my blood pressure and sugar problems I am thinking I might not have that long to finish.

I have been cleaning ceiling fans, vacuuming behind everything, dusting, polishing, figuring out back to school clothes needs, laundry, and organizing. And that was only the upstairs! UG!

Tomorrow I will start the downstairs... after dropping Nic off at wrestling camp, bringing Justin to swim lessons, running to the Dr's for a sugar and blood pressure check, picking Nic back up and getting ready for Justin's bday Thurs.

Oh - and Alex hasn't gotten off free and clear from this craziness. He has had to, with Nic's, help put back together tons of transformers, change the thingies for the vents, spray paint a beautiful shelf for William's room I got at the DI for $5.00, fix Justin's bunk bed and deal with me being miserable and tired. But last night he got to go to sleep in a room that was glistening from orange cleaner - not a dust bunny in sight - and nice clean cool sheets :)

I am starving all the time. Even with this new med if I eat more that 1 carb allotment at a meal my #'s go too high. Just so you know this means at breakfsat I can have 1 slice of toast with an egg, for lunch I can have 1 slice of bread with lunch meat, or for dinner the smallest pot. I can find with a piece of chicken. I am starving people I tell you, Just Starving!!!! There are carbs in everything!!! Alex says some people's bodies don't work on pills and they need the insulin. I might have to agree with him because I could def. eat on the insulin with Justin - or at least add in snacks like an apple or eat a bowl of cereal with milk for breakfast or a graham cracker with peanut butter without having skyrocketing sugars. I am def. grouchy from the lack of food - I will even admit it!

I remember being starving all the time and that was with my sugar levels staying under control so I got to eat more than you.

Are you hungry enough to go for the shots then?
