A BOY IS

TRUTH with dirt on his face,

BEAUTY with a cut on his finger,

WISDOM with bubble gum in his hair,

and theHOPE of the future with a
frog in his pocket.

LITTLE GIRLS

Little girls are made of daisies and butterflies and soft kitty cat purrs

And all the precious memories of times that once were.

Little girls are made of angel's wings and giggles and a firefly's glow

And all the happy feelings, deep inside, that we all know.

Little girls are made of cinnamon and bubbles and fancy white pearls

And snowflakes and rainbows and ballerina twirls.

Little girls are made of sunshine and cupcakes and fresh morning dew,

And these are the reasons, little one, why everyone loves you.

Getting ready for William

I'll take pics of his nursery soon but here is his cradle daddy made - it is so beautiful! I still can't believe that it was once a pile of wood on the floor in our basement in CT. Alex spent many nights sanding and cutting and putting so much care and love into it. It has rocked Justin to sleep, now it will rock William to sleep and hopefully will rock all our grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Here is the dresser that mommy got off craigslist for $20.00 and redid to be a downstairs changing table. I love how crisp and clean it looks in white and as soon as William is done with it we will recycle it to the guest room.

I agree, the dresser turned out very nice! I'm so impressed! (And of course I am with the cradle as well. It looks even more impressive in person :-)
